How The Grinch Lit Up A Trumbull Neighborhood To Create 'Santa's Runway' What started as a neighborly idea to spread Christmas cheer during a national low point has become a dazzling community tradition that draws fans from across Connecticut. It's called "Santa's Runway" and consists of about two miles of lights and decorations across some 90 homes beginning along Sterling Road in Trumbull. Where You Can View Christmas Lights Displays In Fairfield County To spread some holiday cheer, a variety of Christmas light displays have opened up in Fairfield County. Here are a few options residents can check out this holiday season.  Wonderland at Roseville: This winter wonderland lights display is located at 226 Roseville Terrace in Fairfield. The lights are on Sundays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The owners said this year, guests can also walk through the backyard and view Santa’s new reindeer barn.
