Fairfield County Man Facing 125 Burglary Charges Found With Nine Handguns, Crossbow, Police Say A 30-year-old Fairfield County man arrested in connection with a string of burglaries across New Jersey and New York was found with nine handguns, a crossbow, and a slew of other weapons and contraband following a multi-jurisdictional investigation, authorities said. Patrick Ryan, of Fairfield, was arrested Sunday morning, Jan. 24 and charged with a total of 74 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle and dozens of other offenses, Hardyston police said in release from the Sussex County Detectives Association. Police Searching For Man Who Jumped From Bridge Into Connecticut River State Police report that a man got out of his vehicle while on a bridge and jumped into the Connecticut River. According to the Windsor Locks Police Department, the man exited the vehicle on Sunday, Jan. 24, around 1 p.m., while on Dexter Coffin Bridge and jumped into the river.  The police department responded as did fire and other agencies to search for the victim.  As of Monday, Jan. 24, a body has not been recovered.  The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

Fairfield County Man Accused Of Masturbating In Public Parking Lot A 23-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for masturbating in a public parking lot in Putnam County, police said.  On Thursday, Dec. 10, State Police at the Brewster barracks said they responded to reports of a man masturbating in a public parking lot on Route 22 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 p.m. Maxwell D. Cleary of Bethel was charged with the misdemeanor of public lewdness.  Cleary will appear in the town of Southeast Court in December to answer his charges.

Tyler Burchard, of Stamford, reported that his 9mm Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol was stolen last week out of the unlocked center console of his car, which parked in the driveway of his home, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin said. Burchard was also charged with the unsafe storage of a firearm in a vehicle, Conklin said. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond. Fairfield County Man Drove Drunk With BAC Twice Limit, Police Say A man who committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police. Fairfield County resident Javier Gonzalez, of Danbury, 56, was pulled over in Rockland County at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in Clarkstown, according to state police.  Gonzalez was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with several violations.  He was released to a sober third party, and will appear in the Town of Clarkstown court next month.
