Police Searching For Man Who Jumped From Bridge Into Connecticut River State Police report that a man got out of his vehicle while on a bridge and jumped into the Connecticut River. According to the Windsor Locks Police Department, the man exited the vehicle on Sunday, Jan. 24, around 1 p.m., while on Dexter Coffin Bridge and jumped into the river.  The police department responded as did fire and other agencies to search for the victim.  As of Monday, Jan. 24, a body has not been recovered.  The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

Fairfield County Man Accused Of Masturbating In Public Parking Lot A 23-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for masturbating in a public parking lot in Putnam County, police said.  On Thursday, Dec. 10, State Police at the Brewster barracks said they responded to reports of a man masturbating in a public parking lot on Route 22 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 p.m. Maxwell D. Cleary of Bethel was charged with the misdemeanor of public lewdness.  Cleary will appear in the town of Southeast Court in December to answer his charges.

Fairfield County Man Drove Drunk With BAC Twice Limit, Police Say A man who committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police. Fairfield County resident Javier Gonzalez, of Danbury, 56, was pulled over in Rockland County at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in Clarkstown, according to state police.  Gonzalez was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with several violations.  He was released to a sober third party, and will appear in the Town of Clarkstown court next month.
