Search Is On For Man Who Allegedly Stole Cell Phones, $500 From Fairfield County Church Do you know him?Stamford Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who allegedly stole items from a local church on perhaps more than one occasion. Detectives from the Property Crimes Division says the video shows footage of the suspect stealing items from St. John's Episcopal Church on Main Street in Stamford. Break-in began at the church in October, with the latest taking place in May. Items stolen include cell phones and other goods. It Will Be 'Ashes To Go' For Metro-North Riders In Fairfield County To help make sure faithful, but busy parishioners have a chance to celebrate Ash Wednesday, area clergy from three local churches will be on hand to offer ashes at the Metro-North train station in Fairfield County.
