Lacrosse Players Remain Hospitalized Days After Practice With Navy SEAL Trainee
Several members of a Massachusetts university lacrosse team are hospitalized after falling ill with a rare muscle-destroying illness after a practice with a Navy SEAL trainee. Twelve members of the Tufts University men's lacrosse team were taken to an area hospital and treated for rhabdomyolysis, according to the school's spokesperson. College Coach Who Played At Southern Connecticut Dies After Fall
Longtime women’s college basketball coach Cathy Inglese, who was hired by Hofstra as associate head coach earlier this summer, died after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a fall. The 60-year-old, who was head coach at Boston College from 1993 through 2008 - making the NCAA Sweet 16 three times - was hired by Hofstra in June.
