Foxwoods Resort Casino, located in Mashantucket in New London County, announced that Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen will open in the Grand Pequot Concourse this summer. A foul-smelling, invasive insect commonly referred to as a “stink bug” could become a more frequent sight due to climate change, according to a new study published in Pest Management Science. Scientists used data collected over a three-year period from 17 states to try and forecast how changing weather patterns might create a more welcoming environment for the brown marmorated stink bug. A fifth state has now confirmed a case of the COVID-19 variant so-called "Super Strain" that is said to be approximately 70 percent more contagious.
