Wanted: Woman At Large After Using Knife To Rob CT Stop & Shop
Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help identifying a woman who allegedly attempted to rob a Stop & Shop with a knife. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:15 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14 in Southbury at the store located at 100 Main St. According to the Southbury Police, an investigation determined that the woman wearing a blue jacket and black pants, brandished a knife at store employees during a suspected shoplifting and robbery attempt. Trio Charged In Separate New Fairfield Incidents Involving Machete, Gun Shot: Police
Three people face a long list of charges after an altercation on a Connecticut road that involved a man who had just been involved in a domestic violence incident, police said. The altercation happened in Fairfield County on Monday, Sept. 25 just before 1 p.m., when Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the area of Bigelow Rd. in New Fairfield to assist the town's police department with a shots fired incident. Eversource Employee Injured In Truck Crash
An Eversource employee was hospitalized following a crash between a tow truck and a van. The crash took place around 8:42 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, on Watertown Avenue in Southbury, said Southbury Police Sgt. Nadine Amatruda. Amatruda said the crash took place when the van was traveling northbound on Watertown Avenue at Riverside Street, and the tow truck was traveling eastbound on West Main Street and Watertown Avenue.
