Woman Killed, 3-Year-Old Child In Hospital Following CT Crash A woman is dead and a 3-year-old child is in the hospital following a serious crash in Connecticut. The collision occurred in Middlesex County around 7:45 p.m., Monday, Dec. 11 in Middletown on South Main Street in the area of Round Hill Road. According to Middletown Police Chief Erik Costa, a black sedan was traveling north on South Main Street and struck the rear of a tow truck traveling north as well. Officers located a 3-year-old child in the rear of the sedan and a woman trapped in the driver’s seat.  The child had no obvious injuries but the woman was unresponsive, Costa said. …

Expect Delays: New Exit Numbers For CT Highways Going Up Now The highway you know like the back of your hand is changing - expect some delays. New exit numbers and signs are being posted, starting today Monday, Dec. 7, along Routes 9, 17, and 82. The new signs will connect motorists to I-95 and I-84, and Route 154, among other places.
