Popular Italian Deli Dating Back To 1966 Reopening On Black Rock Turnpike In Fairfield
Italian Deli fans rejoice -- Sorrento Importing Co., a staple of Bridgeport’s Italian food fans since 1966 -- will be reopening in a new location next month. The local favorite had to shut down its Main Street store in August after a fire destroyed the third-floor apartment located above the business. In September, the business said on Facebook it was reopening in November in a new location in Fairfield and hated to leave their longtime home.
