A new ranking says one Connecticut as the absolute best place for a shopping spree in the state. Online news site Cheapism.com dubbed Fairfield County’s own Ridgefield as the state's best place to shop its “Best 'Main Street' Shopping Districts in All 50 States” ranking. Nordstrom Night Out to celebrate the store's opening in South Norwalk is set. It a chance to "shop with a purpose" at the benefit for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center or DVCC and Fairfield County's Community Foundation. Nordstrom Night Out is set for Thursday, Oct. 10 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. which is the night before the store's official opening.
