Man Nabbed In Stamford After Alleged Stop & Shop Robbery In Norwalk A 36-year-old man was apprehended in Stamford after police say he robbed Stop & Shop in Norwalk on Thursday night. Norwalk Patrol Division Officers responded to the reported robbery at the Stop & Shop located at 385 Connecticut Ave. at around 8:40 p.m. Nov. 29. The caller stated that the suspect stated he was in possession of a firearm, while demanding money, according to police.
