6-Year-Old Hit By Bus: Police Release New Details In Crash Update: The 6-year-old Connecticut boy who was hit by a school bus on Thursday, Oct. 3, remains in the hospital on Friday, but he is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. School Bus Crashes With Vehicle On CT Roadway One person received minor injuries during a crash between a vehicle and a school bus in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, at 38 Indian Trail in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette with the Waterbury Police, the school bus had 14 students at the time, and no injuries were reported by the bus operator or any of the students.  Bessette said the operator of the other involved vehicle was transported to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.  The incident remains under investigation. Update: 5 Students Injured In CT School Bus Crash This story has been updated. Five students were transported to a hospital, and 10 were evaluated for injuries following a crash involving a school bus and a truck in Connecticut. The crash occurred in West Haven around 9 a.m., Thursday, March 14 on Campbell Street near Terrace Avenue. New Haven Public Schools spokesperson Justin Harmon said the students on the bus were headed for Benjamin Jepson Magnet School. Crash Between School Bus, Motorcycle In CT Injures One, Police Say A crash between a school bus and a motorcycle in Connecticut resulted in minor injuries for the motorcyclist. It happened early on Thursday, May 13, in New Haven County, in Seymour, on South Main Street. As of 8:30 a.m., South Main Street remained closed at Scott Avenue. According to Seymour police, students were aboard the bus, but all "appear to be fine."  Parents have been notified and school officials are on the scene along with representatives from All-Star Transportation which operates the bus system. Six Students Hospitalized After Crash Between School Bus, Car Six students were hospitalized in Connecticut following a crash involving a school bus, police said. The bus taking students home from the Ross Woodward School in New Haven crashed with the car at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 on Middletown Avenue. Police said that 17 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Each was evaluated by first responders before the six students were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital by paramedics. The other students were released to their parents. The crash is currently under investigation by police in New Haven.
