Erratic Driving Stop On Route 7 Leads To DWI Charge For Wilton Man A Wilton man is facing multiple charges after police say he was driving erratically and was under the influence during a traffic stop. The stop occurred Friday, Nov. 30 after a motorist called 911 to alert authorities of a black Jeep that had been driving erratically on Danbury Road. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near Cricket Lane. During the traffic stop, police noticed a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle’s driver, 55-year-old Rusty McClintock, who admitted to officers that he had “a couple of shots.” McClintock was asked to perform a series of …
