Lane Reduction To Slow Traffic On I-684 In Greenwich, North Castle: Here's Where Traffic on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester and Fairfield counties is set to be affected by a series of lane reductions, officials announced.  Both directions of Interstate 684 in North Castle and Greenwich, between Exit 2 (Route 120) and Exit 3 (Route 22) will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The lane closures will be put into place between 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 a.m. on Thursday.  The traffic impacts will allow crews to perform bridge work, officials said.

New Round Of Weekday I-684 Closures Underway There will be road closures and delays in the area for five days on I-684 in Westchester. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert warning that there will be weekday lane closures from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on I-684 south between Exit 2 (Route 120) in North Castle and Exit 1 (Entrance to I-287) in Harrison. The closures began on Monday, Aug. 13, and should last through Friday, Aug. 17. Officials said that delays are expected in the area during the scope of the maintenance project.
