Ariela Treysler, age 19, was charged on Thursday, Jan. 25, in connection with the Saturday, Jan. 6 crash in Shelton that killed Stephanie Peterson, age 64, town unknown. According to Det. The Hartford County crash happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 on southbound I-91 in Enfield. Man Crossing I-95 In Stamford Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer A man who was crossing I-95 was hit and killed by a tractor-trailer in Fairfield County. The crash took place around 8:45 p.m. in Stamford on Sunday, Sept. 17 near Exit 8. According to the Connecticut State Police, a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound in the right lane when an unidentified man crossing the highway was struck in the right lane. Woman Faces DUI Charge Following Crash In New Canaan A woman was arrested for alleged DUI after turning herself in to police for a crash that took place earlier this year in Fairfield County. Blaine Stiegler, 32, of Westport, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 5, in connection with the crash which took place around 5 p.m., Saturday, August 22, said the New Canaan Police. Stiegler turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest, police said. On the day of the crash, which took place on Silvermine Road, police said Stiegler had a blood alcohol level of .37 percent or more than three times the legal limit.

The I-684 crash was northbound at I-84 (Exit 9), with traffic backed up to Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8) in North Salem through around 8 p.m. The Saw Mill Parkway crash occurred on the southbound side in the area of Croton Avenue/Route 133 (Exit 36) in Mount Kisco just before 7:30 p.m., causing delays both ways until it was cleared.
