Woman Who Crashes Into Group Of People In Bridgeport Charged With DUI, Police Say
A Fairfield County woman has been charged with multiple crimes including DUI after allegedly plowing into a group of people, including five children. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 7:50 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27 in the 1700 block of Central Avenue. Bridgeport Police responded to the scene after receiving several 911 calls reporting a vehicle crash with pedestrians struck, said Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management. CT Father Charged After 4-Week-Old Twins Hospitalized With Fractures, Police Say
A 19-year-old Connecticut father was charged after police reported that his 4-week-old twins were hospitalized with multiple fractures last month. The East Lyme Police Department said it was contacted by a medical office in Old Saybrook in October about infants with injuries. The twin babies were taken to the emergency room at Yale New Haven Hospital, police said. An alert has been issued for a Westchester man who is wanted on multiple charges, including sexual assault of a juvenile, in Fairfield County. Police intervention was required in Greenwich when a 68-year-old man allegedly pulled a knife on another man during an argument.
