Man Caught Stealing Tools, Supplies From Westport Home Under Construction A monthlong investigation into stolen items from a house under construction in Westport has led to the arrest of a Bridgeport man who allegedly stole tools and scrap metal from the site. Officers from the Westport Police Department were dispatched to a home in town where there was a report of a burglary of the residence, which had been under construction at the time of the alleged theft. During the overnight hours, various tools and copper flashing were stolen, police said.
