Redding Man Nabbed In Check Fraud Scheme A Redding man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for allegedly changing the amount due on checks from a client and making off with $39,000. Micha Harpaz, 63, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 22, on 21 counts of forgery following a check fraud investigation at his business, Menopause Matters, LLC., said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk. According to Kluk, Harpaz would allegedly change the amount on the checks before depositing them, for a total of $39,000. He was also charged with one count of larceny.
