Several Remain Hospitalized After 12 Injured In Stratford Crash, Police Say Several people remained hospitalized following a head-on crash of two minivans in Stratford that injured 12 people over the weekend. The crash took place around 1 p.m., Saturday, July 20, near the intersection of Main Street and Putney Valley Way, Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti said. The injured, including some children, were transported to St Vincent's and Bridgeport hospitals.  The crash remains under investigation.

'Many Severe Injuries' Reported After Minivans Crash In Stratford, Police Say A total of 12 people were hospitalized, several with severe injuries, when two minivans crashed in Stratford. It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20 near the intersection of Main Street and Putney Valley Way, Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti said. "Many of the injuries are severe," Eannotti said. Some of those hospitalized are children. The injured were transported to St Vincent's and Bridgeport hospitals.  Further details, including the extent of the injuries, have not yet been released.
