The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is pushing back on a theory that the mysterious drones in the New Jersey sky were being used to search for missing radioactive waste. Belleville Mayor Michael Melham floated the theory on "Good Day New York," citing a Nuclear Regulatory Commission alert confirming radioactive material was lost in transit in Newfield in Gloucester County on Monday, Dec. 2. Another Fairfield County City Mandates Mask Wearing, Again
With the rise of the COVID-19 Delta variant, masks are returning to another Fairfield County city, the second in a day. On Tuesday, Aug. 10, Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim signed an executive order which requires all individuals in the city to wear facial masks while indoors at any public place or in any business. CT Hit-Run Victim Saved By Good Samaritan, Police Say
A Connecticut pedestrian who was struck by a hit-and-run driver remains in critical condition after being aided by a Good Samaritan. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, when New Haven Police and Fire responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Sherman Avenue between Elm Street and Whalley Avenue, in New Haven.
