A Fairfield County woman has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after a vehicle crash. Patricia Pamela Petraglia, age 71, of New Canaan, was found sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a Silvermine Road residence on Monday, March 4 after leaving a crash in Darien. According to Lt. Two employees at a New England McDonald’s are facing charges after a furious mother found prescription medication inside her child’s Happy Meal box. The mother of an 11-year-old boy found Suboxone in her son’s Happy Meal box after picking it up from the drive-through at McDonald’s on Center Street in Auburn, Maine, on Wednesday, June 30, according to police. A third person has been arrested in a scheme to fill a fake prescription at a Fairfield County pharmacy. Westchester County resident Elijah Jalil Arnold, 22, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 28, by Greenwich Police in connection with an attempt by three men to fill a fake prescription at a Greenwich Pharmacy, said Captain Mark E. Zuccerella. An allegedly drunk Fairfield County driver swerving in the shoulder of a busy roadway in the middle of the night is facing a drug charge after being busted with prescription pills, police said. Fairfield resident Stephen Roger Audet, 51, was stopped by an officer from the Wilton Police Department at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, when he was spotted weaving and driving on the shoulder of Cannon Road near the intersection of Pimpewaug Road in Wilton. Record Number Of Drugs Turned In On Take-Back Day In Stamford
Whipping winds, rain, and flooded roadways didn't keep Stamford residents from turning out to get rid of their old or unused prescription drugs. The department received nine large bags/boxes of unused drugs, weighing in at 215 pounds on Saturday during the national Drug Take-Back Day sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Agency, said Stamford Police Capt.
