Police in Fairfield County are investigating after finding a 45-year-old man lying dead in the hall of an apartment complex. The incident occurred in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 10:15 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Greene Homes Housing Complex (Building 4). According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responding to a shots fired report found the man lying in the hallway who appeared to have succumbed to fatal injuries. Norwalk Police Investigating Smash-Grab Robbery
Police in Fairfield County are searching for suspects who allegedly committed a smash-and-robbery of a commercial business. The incident occurred in Norwalk on Friday, July 26, around 1:25 a.m. at the Clever Smoke Shop in the 80 block of New Canaan Avenue. According to Sgt. Ryan Evart of the Norwalk Police, a rock was used to smash the front door and items were taken from the store. The vehicle used was stolen.
