Woman Charged With ID Theft After Trying To Withdraw $6K In Cash At TD Bank In Darien: Police A 43-year-old Connecticut woman was charged with identity theft and other crimes after allegedly attempting to withdraw $6,500 in cash at a bank in Fairfield County. Nicole Brayman of New London, was charged on Saturday, Jan. 20 in Darien. According to Sgt. Man Nabbed Trying to Fraudulently Obtain Debit Card At CT Bank A Hudson Valley man has been charged with attempting to fraudulently obtain a debit card in Fairfield County while impersonating the real account holder. The incident took place in Westport on Thursday, June 30 at the TD Bank located at 185 Main St. Officers responded to the bank on a report that a man was attempting to receive a debit card by impersonating the real account holder, said Lt. David Wolf, of the Westport Police. The suspect was still in the bank when officers arrived. Man Nabbed With Resident's Stolen Credit Cards, iPad, Apple Watch In Wilton, Police Say Police nabbed a man on identity theft following a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration. Amir Kitale Williams, 26, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 13, by Wilton Police after he was stopped in a 2019 Nissan Rogue who's registration was showing expired, police said. During the traffic stop, a strong odor of marijuana resulted in a search of the vehicle. Duo Caught With Forged Gift/Debit Cards In Greenwich Traffic Stop, Police Say A man and woman from Bridgeport are facing multiple charges after Greenwich Police allegedly discovered a series of forget gift cards and debit cards during a traffic stop. Police stopped a vehicle in central Greenwich around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 after an inquiry with the DMV showed that the vehicle had been suspended due to lack of insurance.
