'We’re Completely Lost': Young Daughter Of Patriots Reporter Dies Year After Cancer Diagnosis Hallie Kyed put up a valiant fight, but after a nearly yearlong battle with cancer, the 2-year-old daughter of the Patriots reporter for the Boston Herald has died, her father announced on Instagram.  Hallie was diagnosed in April 2023 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive type of cancer that attacks bone marrow, a GoFundMe campaign set up for her said.
