A 48-year-old Rockland County man with active warrants was caught overnight inside a parked vehicle that had been stolen in Fairfield County, according to police. An Orangetown Police Officer observed the suspect sitting alone in the rear of a parked vehicle in the Artopee Way municipal lot in the Village of Nyack on Saturday, Nov. 30 at about 3:20 p.m., police said. An 81-year-old woman hit by a pickup truck driven by a Fairfield County man has died from her injuries, according to the Orangetown Police Department. Sueann Esposito of Orangetown died from injuries sustained when she was hit by a 24-year-old Stamford resident Edvin Lopez, around noon Tuesday at the intersection of North Broadway and Main Street in Nyack, said Sgt. A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck driven by a Fairfield County man in Nyack, according to the Orangetown Police Department. The incident occurred around noon Tuesday at the intersection of North Broadway and Main Street in Nyack, said Orangetown Police Department Sgt. Kerri Schiller. An investigation into misappropriated funds from a Rockland County company led to the arrest of a former employee who allegedly stole more than $50,000. Detectives from the Orangetown Police Department announced the arrest of Bethel, Conn., resident Richard Farrah, 59, following an investigation into money stolen from Dynarex Incorporation in Orangeburg.
