Person Of Interest In Norwalk Shooting Caught With Gun, Police Say Police arrested a man wanted as a person of interest in a shooting from the day before in Norwalk. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 when officers were patrolling Day Street. According to Norwalk PD Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, an officer spotted a man standing on the sidewalk near 30 Day Street. The officer recognized the man as a person detectives wanted to speak with regarding a shooting that occurred on Friday, April 14 in the same area. Walter Davis, age 66, was busted around 3 p.m., Friday, March 19, in Norwalk. Davis was searched following a six-month investigation into drug dealing in the greater Fairfield County area by the department's Special Services Unit, said Norwalk PD Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
