Police Probe Series Of Smash-Grab Burglaries In CT Police in Connecticut are investigating after a series of smash-and-grab robberies occurred within a few days. The latest incident occurred in North Haven on Sunday, March 24 at the Mobil Gas Station on State Street. According to North Haven Police, four people wearing masks and hooded shirts smashed the front glass door of the gas station and made off with some $2,000 in cash and two cash registers before fleeing in a stolen car that was taken from Manchester. Witnesses Wanted: CT Scooter Rider Critical After Crash With SUV, Police Say Police in Connecticut are asking for witnesses to a serious  crash that left a scooter driver in critical condition. The collission occurred around in North Haven around 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 at the intersection of Quinnipiac Avenue and Montowese Avenue between the scooter and an SUV. CT Man Crashes Into Pair Of Police Cruisers A Connecticut man rammed two police cruisers following a short police pursuit, after allegedly being found unconscious behind the wheel of his car. The incident took place in North Haven on Saturday, Sept. 24 on Dixwell Avenue. North Haven officers located a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of a road, in the Dixwell Avenue area, with a man in the driver seat who appeared to be unconscious, said the North Haven police. 'Killer' Scam Reaches Connecticut; Police Advise Potential Victims The person texting certainly seemed to know the victim - and the threat to kill him and his family appeared to be real. But it was all a hoax. North Haven Police are warning people about a vicious scam. The Police recently took a complaint from a person who had been contacted by an unknown person who claimed to be a member of a drug cartel. The scammer went on to note personal information about the victim - telephone number, address, date of birth, etc. - before asking for money, police said. If the money was not delivered, the scammers said, then the victim and his family would be killed.…
