Judge Throws Out Parents' Sandy Hook Lawsuit A judge has denied a lawsuit filed by the parents of two children killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre against the town of Newtown and its school district. In a 29-page decision, Connecticut Superior Court Judge Robin Wilson granted the town's request for summary judgment saying the school officials' actions were protected by governmental immunity.
