The identities have now been released of a couple killed after crashing near a bridge connecting the United States and Canada on one of the year's busiest travel days. The Thanksgiving Eve incident happened early Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22 on the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls, New York. The identity has been released of the driver of a tour bus headed from the Hudson Valley that crashed on the New York Thruway about 25 miles west of Syracuse, sending 57 people to the hospital. The crash happened Saturday afternoon, Aug. 14 on westbound I-90 near Exit 40 (Weedsport) in Cayuga County when it exited the roadway for an unknown reason and rolled over onto the grassy shoulder, according to New York State Police. Less than a month after it filed for bankruptcy and announced the closures of 142 Sears and Kmart stores, Sears Holdings is saying it's planning to close another 40 stores in February. Sears, once the world's largest retailer, has now officially filed for bankruptcy, while announcing plans to close another 142 unprofitable Sears and Kmart stores, including several in the area.
