Fairfield County Man Killed In Head-On Crash
An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a wrong-way crash in Northern Westchester.
The crash happened in North Salem at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, according to New York State Police.
A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on Titicus Road near Oakridge Road when, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle entered the westbound lane and struck a 2007 BMW SUV head-on, according to state police.

Fairfield County 31-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash
A Connecticut man was killed after losing control of his vehicle in a single-vehicle crash, according to authorities.
Fairfield County resident Andrew Chapin, ag 31, of Shelton, was killed around 8 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the town of Seymour in New Haven County, said the Connecticut State Police.
According to troopers, Chapin was driving a Kawasaki Motorcycle, northbound on Route 8, in the area of Exit 21, Town of Seymour when he failed to "maintain a proper lane and veered toward the right shoulder."
Chapin was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, troopers said.

29-Year-Old Dies After Crash In Fairfield County
A 29-year-old from Westchester County is dead following a crash in Fairfield County.
It happened around 6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 6, on Route 8 in Shelton, said the Connecticut State Police.
According to state police, Erzsebet Menczel, age 45, of Derby, was driving a Honda CR-V and crashed into John Mateo Oliver, of Yonkers, who was driving a BMW motorcycle.
Oliver was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash closed Route 8 for several hours during an investigation.
The collision remains under investigation.

Man Found Dead In Wooded Area Following CT Crash, Police Say
A Connecticut man who was killed in a crash was found in a wooded area, according to authorities.
The unidentified man was killed around 8:48 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, on State Street in North Haven after losing control of his motorcycle, said the North Haven Police Department.
According to police, a friend of the man who crashed came upon the motorcycle in the roadway, but could not find his friend.
A search of the area turned up the body of the motorcyclist in a wooded area near the crash site, police said.
