22-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle CT Crash A 22-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash. The crash took place in New Haven around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 on Middletown Avenue.  Responding police officers found Raymond Sobask of North Branford, unresponsive in the street, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. Sobask was pronounced dead on the scene, Shumway said. American Medical Response transported the operator of the second vehicle to Yale New Haven Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, he added. Six Students Hospitalized After Crash Between School Bus, Car Six students were hospitalized in Connecticut following a crash involving a school bus, police said. The bus taking students home from the Ross Woodward School in New Haven crashed with the car at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 on Middletown Avenue. Police said that 17 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Each was evaluated by first responders before the six students were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital by paramedics. The other students were released to their parents. The crash is currently under investigation by police in New Haven.
