With 1,152 Avocados A Day, Guac Time Opens First CT Location In Norwalk With a name like Guac Time, you’d expect the growing chain of restaurants would go through a lot of avocados. It does.  Up to 1,152 avocados a day are used at all six restaurants — including the latest (and first) in Connecticut in Norwalk.  That number will go up to 1,344 when the seventh Guac Time opens in Queens in the fall. New Eatery To Open Second CT Location In Stamford A fast-casual eatery is continuing its growth in Connecticut by soon opening a second location in Fairfield County.  Bubbakoo’s Burritos, located in Stamford at 800 E Main St., will open up for business in mid-June 2023, owners Perry and Fenil Patel announced.  The location will be the second Bubbakoo’s Burritos to open in Connecticut, joining the location in Orange at 116 Boston Post Rd.  Bubbakoo’s is known for serving up classic Mexican-inspired menu items such as burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos. Popular Restaurant Opens Brand-New Location In Fairfield County A popular restaurant chain that specializes in tacos is debuting a brand-new location in Fairfield County. The Taco Project opened a new location at 1111 High Ridge Road in Stamford in mid-April 12, according to a representative. The owners also operate Westchester County locations in Tarrytown, Yonkers, Bronxville, and Pleasantville. The restaurants offer a wide selection of tacos including chicken, fish, steak, shrimp, chorizo, cajun salmon, veggie, and more. The Taco Project also serves burritos and burrito bowls, along with quesadillas and salads.
