New Canaan Teen Wins Scholarship To Golf Performance Center In Ridgefield A New Canaan teen has been rewarded with a scholarship to the Golf Performance Center’s Junior Academy in Ridgefield after winning the year-long Foster Cup competition, officials say. Max Orwicz, a 17-year-old senior at New Canaan High School, earned the 2018-2019 Foster Cup trophy with five top-five finishes in Foster Cup events. “Max worked very hard and had an outstanding season,” said PGA Professional Roger Knick, Founder and CEO of the Golf Performance Center. “We look forward to working with him during his senior year and helping him achieve his goal of a college golf scholarship.” …
