Man With Warrant From Stamford Charged In Wilton Traffic Stop A fake license plate registration led to the arrest of a Fairfield County man for a failure to appear warrant and forgery. Marvin Lopez, 40, of Stamford, was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 19, after Wilton Police stopped him on Danbury Road driving a white 2004 Ford Escape that the temporary registration tag came back for a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, said Wilton Police. During an investigation, Lopez told officers that he didn't have a valid driver's license because his license was suspended.
