Police Searching Connecticut River For Body
Police are searching for a body in the Connecticut River. Hartford Police said at 1:40 p.m. that the city’s Marine Division was on their way to the Hartford side of the river to investigate reports of a body in the river. This story will be updated as more information is released.

Three Darien Police Officers Promoted
The Darien Police Commission and Police Chief Ray Osborne have announced the promotions of three officers on Wednesday, May 29. Nick Aranzullo, who started with the department in 2005, was promoted to Lieutenant. In 2009, Lt. Aranzullo assisted with the coordination of the K-9 program and formed the department’s first K-9 unit with canine partner “Zulu.” Lt. Aranzullo also served in the Detective Bureau, receiving a promotion to the rank of Sergeant in 2017.
