Suspect Nabbed In Connection To Fatal Fairfield County Overdose A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with the 2020 overdose death of a Fairfield County man. Luis Rivera, age 34, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Thursday, March 11, by the Fairfield Police Department Quality of Life Unit following an investigation into the 23-year-old's death in December, said Lt. Antonio Granata. Stamford Man Stole $196 Worth Of Items At Whole Foods In Darien, Police Say A Stamford man is facing larceny charges after Darien Police say he stole nearly $200 worth of items from Whole Foods. A manager at the Whole Foods store located at 150 Ledge Road notified police that she witnessed a customer, 31-year-old Luis Rivera, attempting to exit the store without paying for all of his groceries. The manager said she followed Rivera to the parking lot to confront him, and he allegedly claimed that he would return to the store to pay.
