Arrest Made In Killing At Bridgeport Illegal Gambling Club Police in Fairfield County arrested the first of several anticipated in connection with the shooting deaths of two armed men who robbed an illegal gambling club earlier this year. Sean Ellam, age 38, of Bridgeport, turned himself in to detectives on Tuesday, May 28, on an active felony warrant for the Saturday, March 30 incident in Bridgeport. According to Det. Suspect Flees After Trying To Abduct Child From Bus In Bridgeport, Police Say Police are investigating a report that a suspect attempted to abduct a child from a city bus stop. The incident took place around 10 a.m., Thursday, May 30, at Logan Street and Stratford Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.
