100,000 Pounds Of Ground Beef Products Recalled Due To Possible E. Coli Contamination More than 100,000 pounds of raw ground beef are being recalled due to concerns of a possible E. Coli outbreak, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. FSIS announced this week that Georgia-based K2D Foods is recalling approximately 113,424 pounds of raw ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O103. The recalled items were produced on March 26, March 29, April 2, April 5, April 10, and April 12.
