Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Impersonating Woman, Others, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly assuming the identity of an area woman and then making sexual advances toward friends and co-workers. Pasha Torkamani, age 37, of Stamford, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 20 for the incidents which began last year, said Lt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police. According to Scanlon, the department began a criminal impersonation investigation after receiving a complaint from a female victim that someone had assumed her identity and was making sexual advances toward the victim’s acquaintances and co-workers. Teen Charged In Connection With Double Shooting In Stamford
A Stamford teen is behind bars on a half-million-dollar bond after being charged in connection with a summertime shooting that left two injured. Members of the Stamford Police Department arrested John Carlos Montero-Delossantos of Harbor Street in Stamford on Friday, Nov. 23 in relation to the double shooting that occurred on June 23 on Durant Street. Reports Of Peeping Tom Lead To Arrest Of Suspect In Burglary, Other Crimes In Stamford
Complaints of a Peeping Tom in a Stamford neighborhood led to the apprehension of a 45-year-old burglary suspect linked to a burglary and other crimes. At approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, Officer Eric Cooper, a rookie with the department, began to check the Parc Grove Apartments at 180 Broad St. as a result of numerous previous reports of suspicious activity and resident complaints of the Peeping Tom.
