Darien Woman 'Stumbling' To Car Charged With DUI, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after she was seen stumbling to her car, police said. Sabrina Donnelly, age 42, of Darien, was arrested on Saturday, April 13, on Heights Road in Darien. According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police officers were called to the parking lot on Heights Road after a bystander watched as Donnelly was "stumbling" to her vehicle and was having trouble opening the door. $748 Charged On Credit Card Stolen From Woman's Purse At Stop & Shop, Darien Police Say Nearly a thousand dollars was charged on a credit card after a purse was lost during a supermarket stop in Fairfield County, police said. A woman from Darien reported to police that between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, she was inside the Stop & Shop on Heights Road, at which point she realized that her purse was not in her pocketbook. According to police, the purse had $50 in cash, her driver’s license, and bank cards.
