30 Rounds Fired, 3 Wounded, 1 Critically, In Bridgeport Shooting Three people were wounded, one critically during a shooting in Fairfield County on a busy city street. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Bridgeport Police officers responded to the area after receiving multiple ShotSpotter notifications and reports of numerous people shot, said Capt. The woman caring for the baby was inside the gas station/convenience store at the time, dealing with a credit card issue, Hamden Police said. Wanted: Search Is On For Suspect In Armed Robbery At Darien Gas Station Police are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery of an area gas station. The robbery took place around 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Gulf gas station on Post Road, Darien Police said. During the robbery, the man allegedly pulled a gun on the clerk before removing cash from the cash register. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Darien Police Department at 203-662-5330.

Woman Nabbed For Role In Route 7 Gas Station Burglary In Wilton Following a several-months-long investigation, Wilton Police arrested a West Haven woman for being the getaway driver in a cash station burglary last year. Alicia Sheremeta, 30, of 98 Brown St., was arrested Monday and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, larceny and other charges in connection with the Dec. 19, 2017, burglary of the Gulf Gas Station on Danbury Road in Wilton, said Lt.
