MTA, Police In Fairfield County Investigate Suspicious Person Report The Greens Farms Railroad Station was temporarily shut down on Sunday night as police conducted an investigation into a suspicious person, Westport police said on Monday. The Westport Police Department was contacted at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, by the Metropolitan Transit Authority, requesting assistance with their investigation, which was launched in response to a complaint that was phoned into MTA Police in conjunction with the Amtrak Police Department, as the threat involved one of the organization’s trains.
