Bags Of Chips On Roadway Lead To DUI Charge For Fairfield Man A trail of potato chip bags along a Fairfield County roadway led to a DUI arrest.Scott Smith, 49, of Fairfield, was arrested around 12:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20, after a Westport Police officer noticed a vehicle pulled to the side of the road in the area of Green Farms Road, Westport Poice said. Multiple bags of chips were found scattered in the roadway just east of the vehicle’s location.
