Milford Man Sentenced For Defrauding Elderly Person
A Connecticut ma is going to spend time behind bars after being sentenced for defrauding an elderly man out of $60,000 through a fraud and money laundering scheme. Milford resident Christopher Sakelarakis, 35, has been sentenced to a term of 30 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for an investment scheme that defrauded his elderly victim out of tens of thousands of dollars. Dollar Tree To Shut Down 390 Family Dollar Stores
Dollar Tree is closing at least 390 Family Dollar stores and will rebrand 200 others, the company announced in releasing its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings this week. Dollar Tree CEO Gary Philbin announced the plans on Wednesday, which will include renovating some locations to sell alcohol and $1 Dollar Tree merchandise sections. As many as 400 stores will get expanded refrigeration sections and some Family Dollar discount stores will be rebranded to the Dollar Tree brand. Milford Man Arrested, Charged With Defrauding Elderly Person
An area man is facing decades behind bars for allegedly defrauding his elderly person of $60,000 through a fraud and money laundering scheme.
