Drunk Man Without License Runs Stop Sign In Greenwich, Police Say A Westchester man was arrested after allegedly running a stop sign in Greenwich while driving drunk and without a license. Jose Sanchez-Hernandez, 30, of West Harrison, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 1, after a Greenwich police officer observed a black Chevrolet Traverse drive south onto Frontage Road from I-95 without for a stop sign, said Greenwich Police. Once stopped, officers found Sanchez-Herandez with glassy, red eyes and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. Sanchez-Hernandez was asked to participate in a field sobriety test which he failed, police said.  …

Drunk Norwalk Man Found Passed Out Behind Wheel Of Truck In Greenwich, Police Say A 22-year-old Norwalk man has been charged after police say he was found passed out behind the wheel in Greenwich. Greenwich Police say they were dispatched to the area of Frontage Road and Delavan Avenue on a report of a truck with its lights on parked in the middle of the road on Sunday, Oct. 20 around 5 a.m. Officers approached the vehicle and allegedly observed the driver sleeping behind the wheel. When speaking with the driver, identified as Javier Arellano, 22, of Norwalk, police say an alcoholic odor was detected. Arellano was subsequently asked to participate in a series of field …

Norwalk Man Stopped In White Work Van Caught With Heroin In Greenwich, Police Say A Fairfield County man driving a work van was busted with alleged heroin and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Greenwich. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department on patrol at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5 stopped Norwalk resident Johan Wallenberg, 42, near the intersection of Delavan Avenue and Frontage Road. During the subsequent stop, it was determined that Wallenberg was allegedly in possession of narcotics.
