Woman Hit By Range Rover Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Greenwich A 78-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a Range Rover on a Fairfield County roadway. The incident occurred in Greenwich around 8:45 a.m., Monday, Feb. 5 on Railroad Avenue in the area of Field Point Road. According to Capt. John Slusarz, of the Greenwich Police, the woman was hit when a 35-year-old Stamford resident driving a Range Rover, was turning left from Field Point Road when he struck the woman crossing the street.  The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators, Slusarz said.
