Westchester Man Wanted For Alleged Sexual Assault Of New Canaan Juvenile Nabbed, Police Say A Westchester man wanted for the sexual assault of a minor has been extradited back to Fairfield County after being picked up by the FBI. Leland Robinson, 31, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 6, on a warrant out of New Canaan for the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile, said, Lt. Jason Ferraro of the New Canaan Police. Robinson was first arrested by New Canaan Police in October of last year when officers responded to a home for a report of a suspicious man in a driveway. Reginald Sharp, 37, was arrested on Tuesday, July 23, after Stratford Police responded to a report of a preteen who was sexually assaulted, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
