Two Longtime Members Of Greenwich Police Force Announce Retirements
Two longtime members of the Greenwich Police department have retired after a combined 50 years on the force. Lt. John Rodriguez, a graduate of Westchester Business Institute, was hired as a Greenwich Police officer in 1992. He served as a dispatcher, field training officer, and traffic accident investigator. Rodriguez was promoted sergeant in 2009, and to lieutenant in 2017. Over the years, Rodriguez has also served as a crisis negotiator and a crisis intervention team member. STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford EMS is offering an Emergency Medical Technician course that begins on Tuesday, Jan. 3. The course is a first step in preparing for the life-saving profession, or preparation for anyone who wants to be ready in an emergency.
