New Canaan Woman Charged With DUI Following Crash, Police Say A woman turned herself in to police on a warrant for allegedly driving under the influence at nearly four times the legal limit following a crash in Fairfield County. Elizabeth Moran, age 52, of New Canaan, was charged on Tuesday, May 25, for the incident which took place on Saturday, April 10 in the area of Silvermine Road, said Lt. Jason Ferraro of the New Canaan Police.
