Amazon Breaks Ground On $255 Million Warehouse In Connecticut Construction crews have broken ground for the next home of Amazon’s warehouse on Washington Avenue in North Haven. The $255 million project is expected to be completed by June 2019. The warehouse will create 1,800 jobs, and ultimately 3,000, First Selectman Michael Freda told The Connecticut Post.. The warehouse will span about 1.2 million square feet, roughly the same size as the former Pratt & Whitney facility that it succeeds.  Amazon would become the largest company to enter the region since Pratt and Whitney left in 2001.
