Burglar At Construction Site Near Shopping Center Caught In Act, Milford Police Say A 47-year-old man was caught red-handed by cops attempting to steal construction equipment from a work site near an area shopping center, police said. Members of the Milford Police Department on patrol at approximately 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 spotted suspicious activity in the parking lot of the Aldi’s shopping plaza on Plains Road. According to police, the officers set up surveillance and saw a man enter a restricted construction site in the area by cutting a hole in the fence.
